No, this was not taken from an airplane window. This amazing cloud formation was just west of my home outside Chicago on a warm August evening. Even more amazing, was that I don't recall getting even a sprinkle of rain out of them.With a long lens and selective cropping, I just made it appear that I was flying through them.
